Outfit: baby blue biker

The reign of the baby blue isn’t over! I’ve had my eye on this jacket for a long time in fact – I’m always looking for outerwear that can go through spring and autumn. Something that isn’t a heavy coat, but is more substantial than a cardigan. You might remember it was available last year in pink – so I was absolutely delighted to see it back in pastel blue this year; one of my favourite colours.

It doesn’t disappoint! And yes, it’s not as cropped on a shortie like me but it should still work with my swing skirts… er, once I can get back into them. Just to note I’ve rolled the sleeves up for these photos, before I take it to a tailor to get them shortened professionally. I tend to find with Collectif’s clothes that this is a problem I always have – but that’s pretty standard in every brand for me.

I’ve styled the jacket as part of another casual look, which I was super comfortable rocking when the weather got a little nicer that one weekend we will probably come to refer to in the UK as The Summer of 2018. The finishing touch was a pair of royal blue flats from Lulu Hun. I’m trying to impose a rule on myself that I’m only allowed to add shoes to my collection if they fill a colour gap… having just bought a 60-pair shoe storage rack that was filled with two full boxes of shoes to spare…

It’s getting harder and harder to keep cute as my stomach gets larger and larger… these photos were from week 26 and now I’m posting at the very start of the third trimester, having written most of this post from a birthing ball that I feel approximately the same shape as. Eep. It’s mind-boggling to think there’s three more months of growth to come… And how much bigger the bump is even to two weeks ago when these photos were taken.

I am loving all of the cherry blossoms in your recent posts! It’s all very fitting too with spring being the season of new life and three months doesn’t seem like that long at all now…I’m impressed with that shoe in the air shot too btw, I bet that wasn’t an easy one to take ๐Ÿ˜›
I try to stick to the same rule when it comes to buying shoes but with all of the crazy cute styles in the latest Lulu Hun release I’m not sure if I can be so good. There’s about five pairs I have my eye on…

Awww I love the red and blue together! I can imagine it’s getting harder and harder to find clothes that fit (especially when you usually rock so many things with a cinched waist), but I think this is an adorable pregnancy ensemble! And I’ve got to ask – what is that red lipstick?? It’s the perfect color…. ๐Ÿ˜‰

This is such a stinkin’ cute outfit, I love it! The baby blue and red is a favourite colour pairing of mine from a long time ago. I’d literally forgotten how much I love it until I saw your post CiCi! ๐Ÿ˜€ You look amazing.
