I’m not a huge t-shirt wearer, but now and then a tee comes along which looks like it was made for me and I have to give it a go – one with a beach scene and a dog on it; I’m so there! And if that wasn’t enough, it features red, blue and mustard, which are probably my three favourite colours to wear.
And isn’t mustard one of the most fun autumnal colours? Goes so well with those non-existent autumn leaves on the trees behind me, heh. Yeah, you got me, this is one of those I shot in a totally different season, spring in fact. But isn’t that the great thing about spring and autumn – they have a pretty similar climate so you can wear the same outfits for both! We were actually on a mini-break that feels like it was a decade a go, but it was actually only a few months, up in the north of the country.
It was the first time I got my waving tong to work for me and the first time I wore these shoes, both of which have become favourites over the course of this year. These shoes, oh how I love them. I bought them on a whim during my friend’s hen do and they were one of the best impulse purchases I’ve ever made. They’re comfy and they add that perfect casual-but-glam twist to my outfits, which just makes effortless look great. Plus they’re red.
And that’s really all I have to say today. I actually really love how this outfit turned out, even if the skirt does annoy me because it’s that bit too short and not high-waisted enough for my liking. Looking at these photos reminded me of that fact and I have in fact found a replacement, hurrah, which I actually link to below. A denim pencil skirt is such a wardrobe staple – for me at least.
