Outfit: sunshine dress

Glorious weekend of sunshine - and lots of sitting around in it. In my book, there is no such thing as too hot! Ok, well, at least not that you'll ever get in the UK.

And if there was ever a colour that makes you feel summery, to me that's yellow. So I dug out a yellow dress that I've naughtily never worn because it's always been a slightly big fit... but when years pass and you fill out a bit more (not in the way you hope, mind you), suddenly that neglected wardrobe treasure has its moment in the sun (pun intended). Also find that yellow is unforgiving on my pale skin, but now that I have a little tan it's not so bad.

I love the shape and the little details on this dress, from the red flower buttons to the blue trim. Very 50s pin-up.

Dress: Tara Starlet
Shoes: Monsoon

And yes, this is a slightly different background shot to usual - you're getting a sneaky peak at my living room. Spot the Marilyn decor...
